I have issue with my 2013 Fox Float CTD Evolution 8.5x2.5 shock that has ID CCZ9, compression tune is L and climb tune is F, it came on Santa Cruz Heckler frame and has no Boost valve or trial adjust. But screwing around with 500psi of Nitro can break some finger, destroy a shock any number of things. So it has nothing to do with being tight lipped. For the price of any one of those you could have it rebuilt a few times. You need a nitrogen tank with at least 500 psi, a special fox Nitro charging needle, and some other things. You do not have the seals, and the equipment to fix this yourself. The main issue is how to recharge the nitrogen, I know there is a fitting to attach to the air sleeve, but what is this fitting and where can it be purchased? Fox has done a great job of being tight lipped on this, but was hoping someone here could shed some light on how this is done. ![]() ![]() I know air sleeve service is a no brainer, but I need to find some info on servicing the oil/nitrogen chamber. I know I can send this out to PUSH or Fox for a rebuild, but I'm an avid DIY and don't have the money to send it out either so I wanted to tackle this myself.
