6/21/2023 0 Comments Positive grid bias fx trial![]() You'll need to haul (and set up) the laptop (fragile), The FCB (BIG and ugly, but virtually indestructible), the rotary controller (the nanoKontrol2 is small and fragile), the Audio/MIDI interface, and your FRFR speaker and stand (the PA type sound better on a stand, the others are VERY expensive). How good is the latency/noise floor on your interface? You could need a newer model. TH3 is MUCH better than Amplitube for this. Remember I said "with MUCH programming"? Do you have a good grasp of MIDI? if not, get ready for BIG FUN! The FCB1010, UNO chip and Editor (for programming) will run anywhere from $100-$200.Ī Rotary/Slider type controller to control amp and effects parameters on the fly. ![]() It does not (because of poor MIDI implementations) work with BIAS or Guitar Rig, or Native until it gets a FULL MIDI implementation (currently won't switch presets via MIDI, though you can switch snapshots). This works well with Amplitube and TH3 (the best/most flexible of the SW offerings). This will allow you to have 5 "Stomp" style pedals available in each FCB "Bank" of 10 switches which will reflect (with MUCH programming) the ON/OFF status of 5 effects. ![]() The best and cheapest is the FCB1010 with the UNO chip. ![]() In addition to the SW itself, you'll need:Ī foot controller, to switch presets and toggle effects. That's why I started with modeling SW 10+ years ago.
