6/21/2023 0 Comments Technicolor router firmware update![]() ![]() We've been through this process almost 2 dozen times recently and it never seems to go away.Īccording to most of the sources we can find, these problems affect a dozen or so Technicolor routers and the answer invariably is to update the firmware to fully clear any corrupt internal files. Of course it means having to set up the router again. At times, the only way past it is to reset to factory - first using the hardware button on the back of the unit which then *must* be followed by the reset option within the control interface. Our router often breaks the basic remote access using the default Administrator account and even when this is not an issue, it often presents " Access Error: 500" on certain config pages. We have this issue too inasmuch as we need our router to be updated because of frequently experiencing issues accessing the router administration interface.
